A Golden Milk Nightcap

Golden Milk is a warming and serene beverage, suitable for unwinding from a full day. Flow Herbal Chai Tea contains a perfect spicy mix of dry ingredients for a zero-fuss Golden Milk recipe, containing organic ginger root, organic cinnamon, organic fennel, organic peppercorns, organic sarsaparilla root, organic turmeric, organic nettle, and natural chai flavoring.

Traditionally, Golden Milk consists of turmeric and ginger root, a few spices, a bit of honey and coconut oil simmered in whole milk. For a lighter version, I steeped two sachets of Flow Herbal Chai Tea in hot almond milk, honey, and olive oil. I topped it off with sprinkles of turmeric, cinnamon, and star anise. Then, curled up on the couch with a blanket, settled into a dreamy book and sipped brilliant yellow until my eyes felt heavy enough for sleep.

Health benefits of Turmeric Root

Flow Herbal Chai Tea brims with anti-inflammatory influence, especially from turmeric. The peppercorns bring in a beautiful bite while also enhancing the health benefits of curcumin in turmeric root. Curcumin is fat soluble so using whole milk or a drizzle of oil encourages absorption.

Ancient Indian and Chinese medicine have used turmeric root for thousands of years to relieve upset stomachs, skin irritation and much more. Today, turmeric is used as a dietary supplement for several conditions including arthritis, joint pain, general inflammation, digestive disorders, respiratory infections, allergies, liver disease, and depression. In short, turmeric root encourages ease and FLOW in body, mind, and spirit.

Ignite Momentum Toward Your Evolution.

More on step 6. Flow: Go for it. Ignite momentum toward your evolution.

When you move through your day taking the steps you planned, you are literally embodying your ideal self.

I hope you take these concepts and run with them. I hope you practice these six steps until they naturally weave into your daily life. Make them your own and expand them to fit your mind, body, and spirit.

Let's review.

  • Breathing: Bring yourself back to the present. Foster self-love by holding space.
  • Concentration: Focus on where you are. Be brave enough to accept your starting place.
  • Center: Connect to your purpose. Look inward to find your truth and define your goals.
  • Control: You are in charge. Restore your power by owning your journey.
  • Precision: Aim at your truth. Create big change by shifting small habits.
  • Flow: Go for it. Ignite momentum toward your evolution.

  • After a while the need for grit subsides, momentum ignites, and you feel the shift as your new habits take root.

    You are cultivating radiance.
